We provide Islamic Counselling: a therapeutic approach that intelligently blends faith and science.
Are you eligible for our services?
We provide up to 18 sessions, each 50 minutes long, of free multi-lingual faith-based counselling to adults who are looking to address specific issues with their mental health.
We currently provide services to residents of Birmingham and London. If you fall outside of any of these groups but are interested in accessing Islamic Counselling, please email us and we will keep you updated as we expand. If you would like to help us in our efforts to reach more people who can access our services, please take a look at how you can support us.
For those impacted by COVID-19.
The coronavirus has changed our lives in unimaginable ways. Muslim BAME communities have been particularly hard hit by sudden bereavements, stressful and isolating living situations, and long term unknowns that can create great anxiety. This naturally impacts our mental health and can feed into any pre-existing fears and obsessive-compulsive behaviour, and may also re-ignite traumatic memories from the past. Islamic Counsellors can provide a deep understanding of both the emotional and spiritual aspects of your current concerns, and guide you as you go about addressing them. Funded in part by the National Lottery Community Fund.
For people in London and Birmingham.
People living in London, Birmingham, and surrounding areas and struggling with their mental health are eligible for support from us. We are now working with East London NHS Trust and Compass Wellbeing to provide free counselling support to residents of Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Hackney. We can provide professional counselling services in English,Turkish, Bangla, Sylheti, Urdu, and Punjabi. Our trained, professional, and experienced counsellors are fully qualified to help support people with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, bereavement, domestic abuse and interpersonal relationship issues.
